3x1 NYC, pronounced “Three by One,” was launched in 2011 by denim designer and entrepreneur Scott Morrison. The name is derived from denim’s standard weaving construction, the 3x1 Right Hand Twill. In 2021, 3x1 NYC was acquired by an Italian hub specializing in the development and distribution of high contemporary international brands.
Subsequently, the brand relocated its entire production to Italy, embracing the rich legacy of denim craftsmanship.
