The canvas decides how a jean behaves. The wash decides how it looks, and how it will age. All 3x1 denim canvas is supplied by Candiani Denim, one of the best mills in the world for the production of high-quality, organic and microplastic-free fabric; everything below is what we do with it afterwards.
Our washes fall into three families.
From clean mid indigo to deep near-black blue, and the faded, worn-in tones in between.
Shop blues
Solid blacks with no fading, washed and vintage blacks, and the full range of greys from warm to cool.
Shop blacks and greys
Off-whites, ecru and the overdyed tones — the washes that read as colour without leaving the denim language.
Shop whites and neutrals
The same wash sits differently on a rigid canvas than on a comfort one. Rigid canvases are 100% cotton: they hold their structure, never lose their shape, and take bold crafting and dyeing best. Comfort canvases balance the ease of stretch with the look of rigid cloth, and are made for all-day styles.

Wash cold, inside out, and as rarely as the jean allows. Air dry rather than tumble dry. A raw or dark indigo will keep its depth far longer this way, and the fades that appear will be yours rather than the machine's.
